The UHI-2 has a large full panel display for quick status checks, a 3-step flow rate setting (Hi, Med, and Low) for fast setup, and an automatic overpressure release valve.

The Olympus UHI-2 is an endoscopic insufflator. Olympus insufflators are used to inflate a cavity within the body to give more workroom for the surgeons. Most insufflators use CO2 to inflate the cavity because it is non-flammable, colorless, and dissolves into the body. Insufflators can be used in radiological imaging as well as endoscopic procedures.
